For our angling enthusiasts, salmon fishing permits on the river Spey can be obtained from Aberlour Hotel.
Whisky
You can pre-book distillery tours, which include tutored nosing and tastings of the water of life, at local Distilleries such as Aberlour, Glenfarclas, The Macallan, Cardu, Glenfiddich, Balvenie, and Glenlivet to mention a few.
There are two Whisky Festivals a year, one during the first weekend of May and another during the last weekend of September.
Games
Highland Games are held in Dufftown during the last weekend of July and Aberlour is held during the first weekend of August. Both of them are great fun for the whole family – there will be highland dancing, caber tossing, hammer throwing, and mass pipe bands!

Speyfest Music Festival has traditional, modern, rock, music with a ceilidh late evening and is so much fun for adults
